MIT Portugal Program Soft Skills Course for Leadership brought together 17 MPP PhD Candidates

The first Soft Skills Course for Leadership promoted by MIT Portugal Program (MPP) and ANJE (the national association for young entrepreneurs) brought together 17 MPP PhD candidates at DiverLanhoso adventure park. During a two-day program the PhD candidates acquired and developed leadership skills through workshops, group dynamics, and outdoor activities.

This Bootcamp joined a group of students with diverse backgrounds, training, nationalities, and experience. With indoor and outdoor activities in adverse conditions that took the students out of their comfort zone, the participants acquired knowledge about different types of DISC behavior, contributing to better self-knowledge about their behavior as well as a greater understanding of how to interact with people with different behavioral profiles. The course gave the participants an opportunity to observe their own social, physical, and psychological skills and abilities, and the effect of these factors on leadership.

In spite of the challenging weather conditions, the group was always enthusiastic and the sense of community and team spirit was strengthened

Congratulations Bootcampers. We had such a remarkable time together.
