The MIT Portugal innovation initiative fosters collaboration between MIT, Portuguese universities, and industry affiliates. Our mission is to connect the MPP community and its partners so they can move powerful ideas from conception to fruition.
We combine opportunities for hands-on innovation and entrepreneurship education to build a dynamic infrastructure across campuses that fosters a connected community of science researchers.
We are committed to strengthening MPP’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape by:
- Serving as a connector across the wide range of research groups dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Supporting MPP’s most successful innovation projects to reach more faculty and external partners.
- Organizing events and workshops that support future Portuguese innovation leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to develop, scale, and deliver breakthrough solutions to real-world problems.
