Master Class in Visual Communication - by Felice Frankel
Update: Applications are now CLOSED. Master Class Postponed!
Due to the measures being taken globally to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, the MIT Portugal Program must postpone the Master Class in Visual Communication scheduled for May 18 and 19. We will be sending out more information as soon as possible.
If you want to learn how to translate your research into more effective visuals for journals and presentations, this Master Class is for you.
This class will teach you new approaches to the way you represent your research by reviewing your own DRAFT visuals, and will be helpful for those who have a general interest in Photoshop or presenting research and posters at conferences.
- Multidisciplinary graduate students from Portuguese universities as the core participants (ex: engineers; designers; architects);
- Undergraduates may attend as observers – contributors to the conversation;
By applying you commit to submit support documentation (draft figures, images, illustrations, poster designs or cover submissions). If your application is missing some of the required elements it will not be considered.
EXTENDED DEADLINE: You can apply until April 16. ONLY FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS – Register here
We have to limit the number of active participants to 15 – those whose work we will be discussing – however we will offer an “observers” section for those whose work wont be selected , but that will be actively part of the discussions.
For the 30 successful attendees, tickets will cost 15€ to ensure attendance.
