Transportation Systems | Doctoral Program | Admissions |
|
The admissions process is highly competitive; approximately 10 students are admitted every year with a scholarship.
Applicants must have one of the following degrees to be considered for admission: a Bologna 2nd Cycle degree, a five-year Bachelor’s degree (licenciatura) or a Master’s degree. In addition, professional work and/or research experience is highly valued, especially in relevant fields. If an applicant does not have the necessary educational or professional background in transportation, students should consider first enrolling in the Complex Transport Infrastructure Systems (CTIS) Master’s degree offered through the MIT-Portugal program. Upon completion of the CTIS degree program, graduates will be prepared to undertake studies at the PhD level.
For complete information on applying to the CTIS Master's course or the Transportation Systems PhD course, please visit the main MIT-Portugal Applying to the Program Page.
