The goal of the program is to give participants a good understanding of funding mechanisms and expose them to US investors. The format of the curriculum is 2 weeks of intensive “hands-on and immersion training” at MIT, delivered by thought leaders, entrepreneurial practitioners and established entrepreneurs. The content is structured as interactive workshops and praxis, and includes a practice pitch session with investors, Angel roadshow, incubator and accelerator working sessions and presentations. It will also feature an dedicated International Innovation Symposium - a front-loaded “Demo Day”, where participating startups pitch their ventures to the MIT community, investors, and other innovators in the Kendall Square area, and have a chance to meet one-one-one with interested stakeholders and further network during a reception poster session.
