The promoters of the BIO-Teams – Innovation Teams module (integrated in the Advanced Course on Bioengineering Systems) will organize on February 17th and 18th, 2011, the 4th IdeaSpring event at the Biocant Park in Cantanhede.

The aim of the IdeaSpring is to make public several biotechnologies with promising economic value developed in Portuguese national research centers and companies, promoting the interaction between inventors, students, potential investors and other entities interested in the subject of bioentrepreneurhip.

This year's edition will start on February 17th with a workshop on Intellectual Property. On the 18th students will visit Critical Software in the morning and in the afternoon eight MIT Portugal BioTeams of Portuguese Universities present go-to-market strategies for a particular technology.
