Please join us at 4 pm on Monday, November 22nd for the final lecture this semester of the MIT Portugal Visiting Scholar lecture series. Dr. Luís Pereira de Almeida of the Center for Neurosciences and Cell Biology and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, will be speaking about his research on therapeutic strategies to treat neurodegenerative disorders. This area of research is an exciting application of bioengineering to medicine, with implications that could be extended to the treatment of various kinds of diseases.

The lecture will be held on the MIT Campus in Cambridge, MA, Room E38-467, followed by a reception in the MIT Portugal Program space on the 4th floor of E38.
