DescriptionOver 50% of world’s population and 70% of the EU population lives in Cities, where all the fundamental resources converge. Due to climate changes and global warming, the creation of wealth and the citizens’ well-being are confronted with the urgent need of environmental responsibility in the use of energy. The demand for environmental, social and economic sustainability requires that major Cities contribute to develop a new energy paradigm characterized by energy efficiency and by the use of renewable energies.
