On June 17, 18, 24 and 25 the MIT Portugal Program WoC (Window on Companies) sessions will be offered, with the objective of promoting a forum of discussion where companies and students interact through the presentation by an industry leader followed by a discussion period. The themes of these sessions will include:

• Future challenges and opportunities in the energy sector that are presently being faced by the companies;
• The R&D areas that could be the most significant to tackle and further develop those challenges and opportunities.

The final aim of these sessions is to develop a stronger bond between energy sector industries and MIT Portugal Program, demonstrating to both parties involved the added value that may be realized through enhanced interaction.

June 17: Eng. António Vidigal, CEO EDP Inovação

June 18: Dr. Alexandre Alves, the promoter of the biggest investment in the energy sector now taking place in Portugal: RPP Solar

June 24: Eng. Rogério da Ponte, CEO of Selfenergy

June 25: Dr. João Nuno Mendes, Director for Innovation of Galp Energia

The sessions will be held at the IST building in Taguspark, auditorium 1.38 (on the first floor to the right of the MPP-SES Classroom) and will commence at 18:00 and finalize around 20:00.
