MIT and Portuguese faculty and student researchers from the MIT Portugal Transportation Systems area will be panelists and featured speakers at the 89th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) January 10-14, 2010, in Washington, D.C. 

The TRB Annual Meeting is the preeminent gathering of transportation professionals from academia, government and industry. The theme for this year's meeting, which will feature more than 3,000 presentations overall, is "Investing in Our Transportation Future: BOLD Ideas to Meet BIG Challenges."

(The meeting will be held at the Connecticut Avenue Collection hotels in Washington: the Marriott Wardman Park, the Omni Shoreham, and the Hilton Washington.)
