Description

The objectives of this conference are to share key achievements of the MIT-Portugal Program partnership with members of Portugal's scientific and entrepreneurial communities, and announce the program's revised strategy to develop a robust engineering systems knowledge network in Portugal.

Topics addressed at this conference, which is supported by the Fundação de Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), include:

  • Sustainable Energy and Transportation Systems
  • Stem Cell Engineering for Regenerative Medicine
  • Materials and Design-Inspired Products
  • Engineering Systems Methods and Models

In addition, the event will feature a poster session with contributions from MIT-Portugal PhD students and those involved in ongoing research projects, and an exhibition of models and prototypes developed at MIT and at Portuguese universities.
