MIT Portugal Program Information sessions at University of Minho (*)

The MIT Portugal Program will organize, on January 29 and 30, information sessions about the Program for all interested candidates.

This first info session will take place at Campus of Gualtar (Braga), in the amphitheater of the Biological Engineering Department.

Provisional agenda:

09h30 – Representative of MIT Portugal Program Coordination

09h45 – Representative of the BioEngineering Systems focus area

10h00 – Representative of the EDAM focus area

10h15 – Discussion

The second info session will take place on 30 January at Campus of Azurém (Guimarães), in room B1.12, between 09h30 and 10h30 with the same agenda.

The candidacy period for PhD programs is now open and will continue until 28 February 2009, for those wishing to start the program in September 2009. The applications for Advanced Study programs will be open until 31 March (Transportation) or 15 June (EDAM and Sustainable Energy Systems).

• Bio Engineering Systems: Advanced Study and PhD
• Sustainable Energy Systems: Advanced Study and PhD
• Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing: Advanced Study (Technology Management Enterprise) and PhD (Leaders for Technical Industries)
• Transportation Systems: Masters and PhD
