DACHOR awarded with “Ser Capaz”, a prize promoted by Associação Salvador

The DACHOR project, developed in partnership with MIT Portugal, was this year winner of “Ser Capaz” promoted by Associação Salvador. The award “Ser Capaz” aims to stimulate research in the field of the psychomotor rehabilitation. The award ceremony is scheduled for January 16th, 2012, 6:30 pm at Espaço Bes Arte & Finança, Lisbon

The DACHOR project contributes multibody dynamics and control modeling for the development of an innovative powered Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) with hybrid actuation to aid individuals with reduced mobility and neuromuscular disabilities.
