The INOVISA - Association for Innovation and Enterprise Development of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (www.inovisa.pt) is organizing jointly with the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA / UTL), Instituto Superior Técnico (IST / UTL) , University of Minho, University of Aveiro, and Institute of Experimental and Technological Biology (IBET / ITQB), a meeting under the theme "1st Iberian Meeting on Natural Bioactives Entrapment for the Food Industry: Challenges and Perspectives, from Nanotechnology to Bioavailability". The main objective of this meeting is to create a forum for discussion about the benefits that this technology could bring to food industry.

To ensure a high level of quality, the event will featurenational and international recognized specialists involved in different areas of expertise. Throughout the event, there will be an exhibition of scientific posters on this topic. After the event, there will be a brokerage, with the aim of promoting synergies between academia and industry in these areas.

This meeting will be held on 12th and 13th May 2011, in the Auditorium "Lagoa Branca" of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
